Begin your day in the very best way with these mouth-watering Muesli Apples, air-fried to perfection and enhanced with the rich, earthy flavours of our punchy Ground Cinnamon and Ginger.
Start off by washing the apples and pat them dry. Halve them from stem to end. Slice a little sliver off each rounded side to help them stay upright when placed in the air fryer basket. Then core the apples with a spoon or melon baller and brush the cut sides well with lemon juice.
Preheat air fryer to 160˚C.
Sprinkle the apples with a little Natural Herbs & Spices Ground Ginger and Cinnamon and Air fry them for 10-15 minutes until the apples have just softened.
While the apples are cooking, make the muesli topping.
In a medium sized bowl combine the muesli, butter and honey. Then add the Natural Herbs & Spices Ground Ginger and Cinnamon and mix to combine well.
Divide the muesli topping onto the par cooked apples, piling it on in a mound.
Return topped apples to the air fryer and air fry for a further 5-10 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the muesli topping is golden brown.
Serve muesli apples nice and warm with a generous dollop of plain yoghurt and an extra drizzle of honey if desired. Tuck in and enjoy!
