Savor the rich, smoky flavors of our Grilled Steak & Blistered Tomatoes dish. Perfectly grilled, tender steak is paired with sweet, charred cherry tomatoes that burst with juicy goodness. Method
For the salad:
Combine the rocket and parmesan in a salad bowl.
Just before serving, drizzle with vinegar and season with Natural Herbs & Spices Everyday Seasoning.
Toss well to coat and serve.
For the tomatoes:
Place tomatoes in a frying pan that has a well fitting lid.
Drizzle tomatoes with a little olive oil and season with Natural Herbs & Spices Everyday Seasoning.
Cook on high heat until the tomatoes get little charred blistered marks on them.
Cover with the lid at the end of the cook just to fully cook through.
Serve straight out of the pan alongside the steak.
For the steak:
Drizzle steak with olive oil and season generously with Natural Herbs & Spices Everyday Seasoning. Rub the seasoning into the steak.
Heart a cast iron griddle pan on high heat.
Cook steak, turning only when you have beautiful seared markings on the first side.
Cook on the second side until desired doneness.
For a nice medium rare (thick cut) steak about 3 minutes per side.
If you have a meat thermometer, remove steak from the heat when the internal temperature in the thickest part reaches 52˚C.
Leave the steak to rest for 5 minutes.
Slice steak against the grain and serve.
Serve steak alongside blistered tomatoes and rocket and parmesan salad.
