This Christmas we’re all about easy. Easy recipes that really deliver on taste, easy cooking with hardly any time spent in the kitchen, and above all easy, stress free entertaining. Our Christmas caprese wreath is the perfect example of our laid-back approach to festive feasting. Just grab some brilliantly juicy ripe tomatoes, mozzarella balls and basil. Plate the lot up in a wreath-shape, drizzle with excellent extra virgin olive oil and balsamic and you’re done. Now what could be easier?

What you will need

  • A selection of heirloom tomatoes (for added interest go for different sizes, shapes and colours)
  • Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • Basil
  • Micro herbs and edible flowers (optional)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic reduction
  • Natural Hers and Spices Coarse Sea Salt
  • Natural Herbs & Spices Black Peppercorns

Method

Rinse and dry the tomatoes and slice. Don’t slice them all the same way, vary the shapes and sizes so you have some round slices, some halves and some quarters. Plate up on a large round platter with bocconcini and stud generously with basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic reduction and give the lot a very generous grinding of Natural Herbs and Spices Black Peppercorns and Sea Salt.
